Just home from campaigning with the Labour candidate for Swindon South, Anne Snelgrove (right) and The Rt Hon Andy Burnham, Secretary of State for Health (left).

The weather was beautiful all afternoon and we engaged with many local residents in around the town centre. I’ve never doubted that Labour still has a lot of support but even I was surprised just how many people were very strong in their support for Labour. For those who think the Conservatives have this election in the bag, really should think again – this election isn’t over by a long way and I’m still convinced that Labour can win this battle.
